MPPA Stamps Fede Alvarez’s ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Sequel With an R-Rating for Bloody Horror Violence

The upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequel from Legendary Entertainment and producer Fede Alvarez has just received an “R” rating (obviously not surprising news) for “strong bloody horror violence and gore, and language.” Leatherface fans will be pleased to hear that the next franchise entry is promising to be a rather gruesome one. Interesting note: the official MPAA website also lists the film’s title simply as Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
