'Orphan: First Kill': Prequel Movie Rated R for Bloody Violence

Isabelle Fuhrman is set to reprise her role as Esther in director William Brent Bell‘s Orphan prequel movie, Orphan: First Kill. For those of you hoping for a true horror experience, good news because the Motion Picture Association website has given the flick an R-Rating today for “bloody violence, language, and brief sexual content”.

The prequel takes place when:

Leena Klammer orchestrates a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But Leena’s new life as “Esther” comes with an unexpected wrinkle and pits her against a mother who will protect her family at any cost.

“Scream” TV Series staff writer David Coggeshall wrote the script.

Paramount Players recently acquired domestic distribution rights, but the production label have yet to unveil any official details regarding the film’s release date at present.
