'Pet Sematary': Jack Mulhern, Forrest Goodluck, Natalie Alyn Lind and Isabella Star Join the Prequel

We have the latest casting details for writer/director Lindsey Beer‘s new Pet Sematary prequel film from Paramount Pictures. Today’s update comes from an exclusive update from the folks over at The Hollywood Reporter, who revealed the names of the film’s four new cast members.

The site notes: “Mare of Easttown” actor Jack Mulhern and Forrest Goodluck, who is known for starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant, have joined the untitled feature, along with “Big Sky” actress Natalie Alyn Lind and newcomer Isabella Star LaBlanc.

The original 1989 film, directed by Mary Lambert, begins when:

Louis Creed and his family move into a new home and try to settle in. However, strange things happen after Louis buries his daughter’s cat in an ancient burial ground in the forest behind their house.

The film is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.

The film also stars Jackson White (The Space Between) has been cast as young Jud Crandall.

Pet Sematary is set to debut exclusively on the Paramount+ streaming service.
