‘Prey’: Dan Trachtenberg‘s ‘Predator’ Movie Stamped With an R Rating for Strong Bloody Violence

It has just been confirmed that director Dan Trachtenberg‘s new Predator Movie Prey has officially been stamped with an R rating for strong bloody violence, reports FilmRatings this evening. This welcomed news should make a lot of fans happy.

The film has the follows synopsis:

“Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.”

Prey stars Amber Midthunder (“Roswell, New Mexico”), Dane DiLiegro (“American Horror Stories”) and Dakota Beavers, the lead singer in the band known as WesternBoy. Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), Julian Black Antelope (“Tribal”), Cody Big Tobacco (The Revenant), Skye Pelletier (“Burden of Truth”), Tymon Carter (The Emigrants), and Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (“Shoresy”) also star, with Dane DiLiegro (“American Horror Stories”) and former basketball player as the Predator.
