Ridley Scott Says ‘Alien: Covenant’ "will scare the living sh*t out of you"

Check out a brand new featurette with director Ridley Scott discussing bridging Prometheus into Alien: Covenant, along with the very first footage of Scott directing on the set. We also have some cool behind-the-scenes shots of David’s laboratory.

We were pretty shocked by this statement: “It will scare the living shit out of you,” explains Scott.

Michael Fassbender is returning as Prometheus‘ android David, with Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Jobs, The Babysitters) leading a new crew that includes Demian Bichir and Danny McBride (“Eastbound and Down”), as well as Alex England (Gods of Egypt), Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz (A Horrible Way to Die, “The Killing”), Jussie Smollett (“Empire”), Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills).

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant director Ridley Scott promises to answer questions regarding confused viewers of Prometheus. Scott previously said: “Covenant is really going to show you who did it and why.”

Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant reaches theaters on the new date of May 19, 2017.
