RLJE Films Acquires Director Panos Cosmatos’ Horror Flick ‘Mandy’ Starring Nicolas Cage

Dark Universe just heard the awesome news that director Panos Cosmatos’ horror action-thriller flick Mandy has been officially picked up by RLJE Films, which is heading to theaters this summer with an exclusive theatrical window.

RLJE Films chief Mark Ward had the following to say about the project:

“The best-reviewed movie at Sundance is also one of Cage’s most extraordinary performances, reinvigorating our love and appreciation of him. Panos’ is a truly visionary filmmaker and we are beyond excited to unleash MANDY to the masses.”

Mandy is produced by Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller, Elijah Wood, Nate Bolotin, and Adrian Politowski.

The film stars Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough and Linus Roache. Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fouéré, Richard Brake, Bill Duke and Sam Louwyk also star.

Synopsis:
“Set in 1983, Cage plays Red Miller, a broken and haunted man, who hunts the unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life.”

Look for Mandy when it hits theaters in the summer of 2018.
