Andy Muschietti Shares 'IT' Remake Photos From Behind the Scenes

The first teaser for Pennywise the clown for the It remake comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, along with a few quotes from Skarsgard. We have to say that it’s a great relief to finally see what he looks likes as we had some doubts, but he definitely looks very sinister and creepy. Take a look at the new Pennywise below!

“It’s such an extreme character. Inhumane. It’s beyond even a sociopath, because he’s not even human. He’s not even a clown,” Skarsgard said, describing his take on Pennywise. “I’m playing just one of the beings It creates.”

“It truly enjoys the shape of the clown Pennywise, and enjoys the game and the hunt,” he continued. “What’s funny to this evil entity might not be funny to everyone else. But he thinks it’s funny.”

The film stars Jaeden Lieberher who will be playing Bill Denbrough, the leader of The Losers’ Club. Also joining him will be Finn Wolfhard as Richie Tozier, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley Uris, Chosen Jacobs as Mike Hanlon, Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie Kaspbrak, Sophia Lillis as Beverly Marsh, and Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben Hanscom. Owen Teague is playing teen bully Patrick Hockstetter.

The first film will be hitting theaters on September 8th, 2017, which is expected to be Rated R.
