Tom Atkins Would “Love” a Cameo in ‘Halloween Ends’ and ‘Halloween Kills’

As reported over the weekend by writer Danny McBride, Blumhouse’s Halloween Kills is gearing up to start filming in North Carolina in three weeks time. McBride also noted that Halloween Ends, the final chapter in the Laurie Strode/Michael Myers saga, will probably follow the same schedule next year. According to a number of sources, Halloween III: Season of the Witch star Tom Atkins is hoping to get a cameo appearance in those upcoming sequels.

While talking with the folks over at ComicBook, Atkins revealed his desire for a cameo role in the next two Halloween sequels:

I would love to do a cameo in one of the new ones, I’d jump right in that,” Atkins told the site. “I would love to do that.

He added, “And I think [Halloween star] Chuck Cyphers is going to be in this next one. He was in a bunch of those early ones, the original and a bunch thereafter. So he’s going to be in it. I would love to do it. But [the filmmakers], so far, they haven’t jumped out at me.

David Gordon Green is attached to direct both Halloween sequels, with John Carpenter expected to provide new scores. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis has signed on to star as Laurie Strode. Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.

Halloween Kills will stalk theaters on October 16th, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021.
