Tyler Posey Cast as Michael in CW's "The Lost Boys" TV Series Pilot Episode

Deadline has just confirmed that Tyler Posey (star of MTV’s “Teen Wolf”, Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare) has been cast as Michael in The CW Network‘s “The Lost Boys” TV series pilot episode.

The site also confirms the following roles: Dakota Shapiro plays David, portrayed by Kiefer Sutherand in the 1987 film, while Medalion Rahimi plays Stella, based on the Star character played by Jami Gertz, and Kiele Sanchez will play Michael’s mother, Lucy.

This time around we will see the first appearance of the the Frog Sisters, who are obviously the sisters of the original Frog Brothers portrayed by Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander over the years.

Synopsis: “Welcome to sunny seaside Santa Carla, home to a beautiful boardwalk, all the cotton candy you can eat…and a secret underworld of vampires. After the sudden death of their father, two brothers move to Santa Carla with their mother, who hopes to start anew in the town where she grew up. But the brothers find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the seductive world of Santa Carla’s eternally beautiful and youthful undead.

The pilot episode will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke from a script by Heather Mitchell.

Do you think Tyler Posey will make a good Michael in “The Lost Boys” TV series? Will you be tuning into the show when it debuts on the CW Network? As usual, you can post your thoughts on both questions down in our comments section below this article to let us know what you think.
