[Video] Jamie Lee Curtis Gets Messy With a Bucket of Blood on the Set of 'Halloween Kills'

With October fast approaching, Jamie Lee Curtis, star of Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green‘s upcoming slasher sequel Halloween Kills, decided to share a brand new behind-the-scenes video from the set of the next franchise film. While we still don’t have an official trailer, producer Jason Blum said back in March that the footage looks great and will be arriving soon. But for now, we will have to make do with what they give us.

In a more recent update, composer and executive producer John Carpenter went on record to say that Halloween Kills is the “quintessential slasher film.”

You can check out Curtis’ Instagram message below, along with a video featuring a bucket of blood on the set of the next franchise film.

The horror master is confirmed to provide new scores for both sequels. The third film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens will reprise her role as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers will reprise his role as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet has been cast as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.
