This time around, Chucky is voiced by the one and only Mark Hamill (Star Wars), and you can hear a tease of his sinister voice in the first Child’s Play trailer.

You can watch the Child’s Play featurette titled “bringing Chucky to life” below, courtesy of Orion’s official YouTube channel.

Synopsis: “Child’s Play follows a mother (Plaza) who gives her son (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

So far the cast is as follows: Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry have been cast as leads, along with child actor Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out) as our young protagonist Andy Barclay.

Chucky returns to theatres on June 21st, 2019.
