"Walking Dead" Creator Robert Kirkman to Produce 'An American Werewolf in London' Reboot

Variety is exclusively reporting today that creator of “The Walking Dead” comics Robert Kirkman has been hired to produce a reboot of director John Landis‘ 1981 British horror classic An American Werewolf in London. Further details about the project have yet to be revealed.

The original film’s plot:

When two tourists, David and Jack, visit a local pub in Britain, they are attacked by a werewolf. However, when David tries to explain the attack, the locals deny any knowledge of the wolf.

Over the years, Max Landis had plans to remake his fathers classic horror film.
