Michael Myers Returns in New ‘Halloween Kills’ Teaser Trailer

Michael Myers Returns in New 'Halloween Kills' Teaser Trailer

Shortly after our friends over at Blumhouse made their official announcement today stating that director David Gordon Green‘s Halloween Kills won’t be arriving in theaters worldwide until October 15th, 2021, Universal, on the other hand, decided to release a brand new teaser trailer for next year’s sequel in an attempt to take the edge off the film’s delay a bit. I know the delay is rather disappointing for a lot of franchise fans, but at least we got a little something new from the film to watch today rather than receiving nothing at all.

You can check out a pretty intense 30-second teaser trailer for Halloween Kills below, in which Laurie Strode does a lot of screaming while Michael Myers escapes the fire and returns to the streets of Haddonfield to continue his murderous spree.

John Carpenter is confirmed to compose scores for both upcoming slasher sequels. The third and final film will wrap up the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, Nancy Stephens will reprise her role as Nurse Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers will reprise his role as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as the adult Lindsey Wallace, Jibrail Nantambu will return as Julian, Robert Longstreet has been cast as the adult Lonnie Elam, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney are returning to play the role of Michael Myers.

How cool is that footage? Did you get goosebumps while watching? For a brief 30-second clip, I highly enjoyed what was shown. Sound off down in our comments section below this post to let us know what you thought of the brand new montage.

Halloween Kills will bring the blood and guts to theaters on October 15th, 2021.

Stay tuned for more updates on as they happen.
