‘Prey’: Trailer for Hulu's 'Predator' Movie Unleashes a New Kind of Hunter

The first official trailer for Hulu‘s Prey has arrived, giving us all a look at a new kind of deadly Predator. The film, directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), is making its debut exclusively on the Hulu streaming service on August 5th. Meanwhile, you can enjoy some Predator action via the trailer in the embed section below.

The film has the follows synopsis:

Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

Back in March, 20th Century Studios president Steve Asbell talked about the film being set in 1719. Follow the link to check out what he had to say.

Prey stars Amber Midthunder (“Roswell, New Mexico”), Dane DiLiegro (“American Horror Stories”) and Dakota Beavers, the lead singer in the band known as WesternBoy. Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), Julian Black Antelope (“Tribal”), Cody Big Tobacco (The Revenant), Skye Pelletier (“Burden of Truth”), Tymon Carter (The Emigrants), and Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (“Shoresy”) also star, with Dane DiLiegro (“American Horror Stories”) and former basketball player as the Predator.
