"Chucky" Season 2 Lachlan Watson Has Been Cast as Glen/Glenda

For those of you who have been patiently waiting for Glen and Glenda to pop up in Don Mancini‘s Child’s Play TV series “Chucky” will be pleased to know that the beloved character will indeed be coming back. That’s right, non-binary actor Lachlan Watson (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) has been cast as the returning Glen/Glenda in season 2 of the show.

In the first tweet below, Watson confirmed the Glen/Glenda character announcement via a video message to fans of the show. Shortly after, Child’s Play franchise and “Chucky” series star Jennifer Tilly shared a tweet welcoming Watson to the Chucky family.

The show has the following plot:

After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

The series also stars Brad Dourif as (the voice of Chucky), Zackary Arthur as (Jake Wheeler), Devon Sawa as (Jake’s dad and uncle), Jennifer Tilly as (Tiffany Valentine), Fiona Dourif as (Nica Pierce), Björgvin Arnarson as (Devon Evans), Alyvia Alyn Lind as (Lexy Cross), Alex Vincent as (Andy Barclay), Christine Elise as (Kyle), Barbara Alyn Woods as (Mayor Michelle Cross).

Lara Jean Chorostecki, Tony Nappo, Meg Tilly (Tilly’s sister), Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano, and Sutton Stracke will also feature in season 2 of the show
