"Dexter" Revival on Showtime Gets Director

The revival of the hit serial killer drama “Dexter” has found its director in Marcos Siega.

Siega directed nine episodes of the original series and will return to direct six of the 10 new episodes of the revival.

Siega is also set to executive produce alongside Michael C. Hall.

The new revival of “Dexter” is set to take place a decade after series protagonist Dexter Morgan disappeared during Hurricane Laura and is now living a new life under an assumed name far away from Miami.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news of Siega’s return.

Clyde Phillips will be returning as showrunner for the revival as well.

Production is expected to start early next year, with Showtime expected to release the revival next fall.
