The Extended 10th Season of "The Walking Dead" Returns to AMC on February 28th

Announced by AMC, “The Walking Dead‘s” extended 10th season featuring 6 new episodes will premiere on Sunday, February 28th at 9:00 pm ET/8c

AMC+ subscribers will be able to view the episodes early. They will debut every Thursday beginning on February 25th prior to the scheduled premiere on Sundays.

The new episodes will have a few new faces joining the cast including Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Scorpion) as “Mays” and previously announced cast member Hilarie Burton Morgan (One Tree Hill, White Collar) as Negan’s wife “Lucille”.

They will be joining new co-star Okea Eme-Akwari (“Cobra Kai”, Greenland) who will be playing “Elijah”, and others.

In the upcoming six episodes, we find our survivors trying to pick themselves up by their bootstraps following the destruction the Whisperers left in their wake. The years of struggle weigh upon them as past traumas surface, exposing their more vulnerable sides. As they question the state of humanity, the state of their collective community and the states of their minds, will they find the inner strength to persevere with their lives, friendships, and group intact?

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” is produced by AMC Studios and executive produced by Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Angela Kang, Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Joseph Incaprera and Denise Huth.

Season 10 of “The Walking Dead” continues on AMC on February 28th.
