'A Quiet Place' Game is Coming From Developers of 'Evil Dead: The Game'

After the success of their game World War Z, which is based on the film of the same name, Paramount Pictures is teaming with Saber Interactive to bring another one of their blockbuster properties to the gaming world. They will be collaborating with developers iLLOGIKA and EP1T0ME to develop “single-player, story-driven horror adventure game” based on the popular motion picture franchise. Currently, the upcoming game has a planned 2022 release date.

In a recent press release, Saber Interactive discussed what gamers can expect from the upcoming title:

This first official video game set in the terrifying A Quiet Place universe will deliver an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous.

The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said Herve Sliwa, the creative director for iLLOGIKA. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.

It’s also worth mentioning that Saber Interactive is currently hard at work on Evil Dead: The Game, based on the wildly popular horror franchise. The upcoming title will feature both co-operative gameplay and player versus player (PVP) combat, as well as skill tree mechanics. Players can expect multiple maps, including the cabin in the woods from the Evil Dead movie series, along with over 25 weapons, including Ash’s chainsaw.
